Through peaceful protests, we set an example of making our voices heard with dignity, empowered by truth. We do not condone intimidation, threats, vandalism, interference with access to a business or any other lawless actions.
If instigators or our opponents attempt to violate our commitment to nonviolence, we will try to de-escalate and will end an event if needed.

Gather at the northeast corner of NE 139th St & NE 20th Ave, on the Walgreens side of the street. Let's raise our voices–and our signs—in support of continued Medicaid funding and democracy!
No ICE in our hotels!
"Due to the success of our initial ""No ICE in Our Hotels"" Rally last week, we are making this event a weekly event. Join us to say, “No ICE in Our Hotels,"" in front of a local hotel where ICE agents have been reportedly staying. We’ll rally to say we oppose masked ICE agents grabbing our neighbors off our streets and deporting them, often without due process.
We’ll show we stand strong against ICE agents sending our neighbors to overcrowded detention centers, often far from their families, and from their lawyers. Bring signs calling out TownePlace for taking part in these injustices and proclaiming “No ICE in Our Hotels"" or other slogans denouncing ICE disappearing our neighbors. Bring noisemakers to show we stand with our vulnerable neighbors. On-street parking is available in the neighborhood behind Columbia Tech Center, which is directly behind TownPlace.

President Trump has governed as though his power is absolute — but America doesn’t do kings. Since day one, his administration and enablers have enriched themselves while slashing services, attacking civil rights, and abusing public funds.
💰 Tax dollars for power grabs Federal money is being funneled into authoritarian crackdowns — deploying forces into cities, seizing control of local police, and funding mass detention — while cutting programs working families depend on.
👑 No kings in America Trump has openly hinted at a third term and behaves like a monarch, using federal forces against his own people and consolidating power. But the American people don’t bow to kings — we stand together and push back.
✋ Enough is enough This goes beyond politics. The administration has defied the courts, disappeared people off the streets, deported citizens, and orchestrated massive giveaways for billionaire allies. The cruelty and corruption must end.
✨ No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings. Defend the ideals our country was built on. This nation doesn’t belong to strongmen — it belongs to the people.
On October 18, we will peacefully gather once again to reject authoritarianism and remind this administration: America has No Kings. Whether you’ve been fighting for years or are newly outraged, this is your moment to act. Together, we will mobilize, resist, and defend our democracy.
