Stand up for democracy while making new memories on this shared community space. The idea behind our theme for this Valentine’s Day weekend rally is to promote a message of healing for our community through positive signage.

Let’s fill this overpass and spill over all the way to the Costco Roundabout. Flags, signs, costumes, and noisemakers are all welcome and admired. We have several banners that can be raised to be seen from the freeway and have been designed to follow the City’s request to not attach directly to the “Birdie Barrier.” Large individual letters that spell out captions and are held up by a group also work well in this space. Signs can also be turned to attract the attention of the many cars that travel along Pioneer Street. There will be extra signs available if you don’t have time to make your own.

The Park and Ride just East of the Overpass is a short walk up. Find parking where you are comfortable. There are crosswalks to get to the south side where we will congregate. Please be cautious coming across. This is a legal, peaceful rally on public property.
